Duo Recital w/ Cristina Stanescu

This coming Sunday at 5 PM, I have the joy of sharing the stage with my dear mento, Dr. Cristina Stanescu, at the beautiful Nicholson Ranch Winery.

Working on this program together has been one of the most meaningful artistic journeys of my life. Through the hours of music, conversation, and reflection, we found ourselves continually drawn to works that explore the deepest questions of what it means to be human.

Gabriel Fauré’s La Chanson d’Ève and Maurice Ravel’s Chansons madécasses may speak in very different musical languages, yet both invite us to contemplate love, innocence, freedom, embracing vulnerability, and transformation. They remind us that great art is beyond simply entertaining but also it helps us understand ourselves and one another a little more deeply.
